Position Overview The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing apartments, maintaining strong resident relationships, conducting property tours, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the leasing office. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service. Key Responsibilities Greet prospective residents and provide exceptional customer service. Conduct engaging property tours and showcase community amenities and apartment homes. Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and walk-in traffic in a timely and professional manner. Explain lease terms, rental qualifications, and community policies. Assist prospective residents through the application and move-in process. Maintain accurate leasing traffic, prospect, and resident records. Follow up with prospects to maximize occupancy and leasing goals. Support resident retention initiatives and provide outstanding resident service. Assist with marketing efforts, outreach activities, and community events as needed. Ensure the leasing office maintains a professional appearance and welcoming atmosphere. Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to ensure resident satisfaction. Qualifications Previous leasing experience required Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective residents. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with computers, email systems, and property management software is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent required.
