Therapy Care Specialist - Specialty Infusion Pharmacy Technician

Therapy Care SpecialistSoleo Health is seeking a Therapy Care Specialist to support our specialty infusion pharmacy in Herndon, VA. Join us in Simplifying Complex Care!The Therapy Care Specialist will work with SoleoRx TCMC model and utilize national and local resources to facilitate high quality care of a patient with specialty pharmacy needs. The Therapy Care Specialist will work under the supervision of a Pharmacist to oversee logistics of a patient's dispense and prescription maintenance, assessment data capture, and serves as the point person to coordinate patient care across all layers of the patient care continuum while on service with Soleo Health. Responsibilities include:Act as single point of contact for specialty patients and as liaison with Soleo branch personnel to coordinate timely medication dispense and deliveryWorks under supervision of specialty pharmacist and/or branch pharmacist to capture assessment data, ascertain patients supply needs, and schedule new and refill medication deliveriesRun daily and weekly pharmacy reports as neededAnswer phones and warm transfer call to appropriate location, monitor incoming faxes, and monitor TCMC refill queuesSend orders to physicians for signatureWork with intake/reimbursement staff to maintain active patient insurance coverage and actively pursue authorizations and re-authorizations with the auth/billing staff at the branch levelDocumentation of all patient interaction and care coordination in the designated system of record for clear and consistent communicationComplete therapy specific training as requiredSchedule:Must be able to work 100% in-officeMust be able to work Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm CST, 40 hours per weekMust be a Licensed/Registered Pharmacy Technician for the state of VirginiaRequired PTCB or NHA CertificationPreferred experience with scheduling deliveries for Specialty Infusion Pharmacy patientsRequirements:Prior experience in home infusion, compounding and/or specialty pharmacy requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentRegistered/Licensed Pharmacy Technician license required for the state of Virginia in goodstandingPTCB/NHA Certification RequiredPrior experience scheduling patient refill deliveries, preferred experience with home infusionPrior customer service/patient services experienceBasic to intermediate efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (Experience with CPR+, Insight, Citus, Genesys, and Paylocity preferred)About Us: Soleo Health is an innovative national provider of complex specialty pharmacy and infusion services, administered in the home or at alternate sites of care.
