We’re seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a long Locum assignment (6-months to 1-year with perm option available!). Location: Southcentral Alaska

Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract

Date Range: July 1st, 2026 start date with 6 months-1 year long commitment.

Compensation: $100.00 hourly rate (make $96,000+ in 6 months!)

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• No Call, No Weekends

Responsibilities:  

• Patient Volume: Averages 12 per day
• Staffing Mix: RN, MA, Physician on-site
• Travel to cover at sister clinic may be required

Requirements:

• Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with the State of Alaska
• Active BLS, ACLS
• Active DEA registration
• Minimum 2 years of solo full-spectrum primary care and urgent care experience
• Must have good primary, chronic and preventative care experience
• Experience with Medivac preferred
• Alaska bush experience preferred
• Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
