They ensure the price labels are accurate. They perform cash handling duties and use the AR system. Functions& Responsibilities: PreparesCashRegisterandAssignedareatoensureitisreadytoacceptcustomers. Recordsamountofsaleon cashregisterandmakes change. ObtainscreditauthorizationonCreditSalesasneeded. IsresponsibleforalltheproceduresrelatedtoCashieringincludingfullresponsibilityformonies under his/her control. Updates customer information as required. Inspectsmerchandisepriortobaggingtoseethatitisinsatisfactoryconditionandverifiessalesslip with price tickets on merchandise. Dusts,cleansandrestocksmerchandiseshelvesasassigned. Setsupadvertisingsignsonpromotionalitemsaswellasanyothersignage thatisrequired. Doesprice changesonmerchandiseasneeded. HelpscustomersbyansweringanyquestionsontheproductsintheMercadoarea.
