andy’s Fine Food Emporium is looking for an experienced, dependable Cook to join our Prepared Foods team.

For 75 years, Sandy’s has been a neighborhood destination for exceptional food and personal service. Our Prepared Foods kitchen is an important part of that tradition, creating the fresh, homemade foods our Guests take home to their families.

What You’ll Do

As a Prepared Foods Cook, you’ll help prepare a variety of fresh foods for our market, deli and grab-and-go cases. Responsibilities may include:

● Preparing soups, entrées, side dishes, salads and other prepared foods

● Following Sandy’s recipes and quality standards

● Preparing ingredients and completing daily food production

● Maintaining attractive, well-stocked prepared food displays

● Practicing proper food handling, sanitation and kitchen safety

● Keeping work areas, equipment and the kitchen clean and organized

● Monitoring freshness and helping minimize food waste

● Working alongside our deli, grocery and other Hosts as needed

● Helping maintain the quality and consistency our Guests expect from Sandy’s

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys cooking and takes pride in their work.

Previous professional cooking, restaurant, catering, grocery prepared-food or similar kitchen experience is strongly preferred.

The right person will be dependable, organized, comfortable working independently and as part of a team, and committed to maintaining high standards for food quality and cleanliness.
