This position grants you authentic ownership over federal and government projects where your contribution directly drives public impact.How You Will Make an Impact:Review, manage, and process schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontracts to keep field operations running smoothly.Analyze detailed blueprints, project plans, and specifications utilizing Bluebeam and Procore software platforms.Collaborate directly with project managers, field superintendents, and public agency representatives to resolve plan discrepancies.Support scheduling and project planning effortsParticipate in project meetings and prepare meeting minutes as neededRequired Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 1 year of progressive project engineering experience in public works or federal construction.Experience with or ability to comfortably prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and plan reading.Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with developing and processing change orders.Familiarity or working proficiency with Procore, and Bluebeam software.Fundamental understanding of public works and prevailing wage guidelines.Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a highly coachable mindset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project)Preferred Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.2+ years of progressive project engineering experience in public works or federal construction.OSHA 30Compensation & Benefits:Competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $120,000.401(k) retirement savings program featuring a 4% company match.Medical insurance and Health Savings Account (HSA) options.Paid time off covering holidays, vacation, and sick leave.Dedicated mentor training and active cross-training opportunities.Career growth opportunities.Regular company events, team outings, and annual company trips.About UsCNW Construction, Inc. is a trusted general contractor specializing in government and public works construction projects.
