Role Description The Front Desk Staff position is a temporary, on‑site role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The individual in this role will greet and assist students, visitors, and employees, providing clear information and directing them to appropriate departments or resources. Daily responsibilities include answering and routing phone calls, managing a shared inbox, scheduling appointments, and maintaining an organized reception area. The role also involves handling basic data entry, verifying documentation, updating records in college systems, and supporting front office processes such as check‑in procedures and form distribution. The Front Desk Staff will collaborate with campus departments to ensure a welcoming, responsive, and professional front‑facing experience for all members of the College community. Qualifications Strong customer service and receptionist duties skills, with the ability to warmly welcome and support a diverse population of students, staff, and visitors. Effective phone etiquette and communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and professional call handling. Computer literacy, including comfort with email, calendars, data entry, and common office software (e.g., MS Office or similar tools). Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize in a busy front‑desk environment, and maintain attention to detail and accuracy. High school diploma or equivalent required; prior front desk, administrative, or customer‑facing experience in an educational or service setting preferred. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and follow college policies and procedures. #J-18808-Ljbffr
