Job Full Description Are you organized, detail-oriented, and the person everyone turns to for answers? Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk. In this role, you'll be the go-to contact for shipments, orders, and inventory, managing paperwork, coordinating outgoing and incoming freight, and keeping records accurate, all on a Monday-Friday day shift that keeps your evenings and weekends free.

- Keep accurate records of everything shipped and received, and enter incoming materials into inventory.
- Review bills of lading, invoices, orders, and shipping notices to set priorities and choose shipping methods, routes, and rates.
- Oversee safe packaging and processing of outgoing shipments, including returns and damaged goods.
- Check international shipment paperwork to make sure it meets required standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for questions about shipments, orders, and inventory, working with customers, suppliers, sales staff, and plant personnel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Warehouse experience with forklift, packing, and measuring.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer, math, and reading skills.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree, knowledge of metals staging and shipping, first aid/CPR training, and exposure to SAP, ISO standards, and lean practices.
- Competitive pay: $18-$22/hr depending on experience, roughly $37K-$46K a year full-time before overtime.
- Great schedule: 1st shift, Monday through Friday, so evenings and weekends stay free.
- Best of both worlds: It mixes hands-on warehouse work with office and coordination tasks, so the day isn't spent only on the floor or only at a desk.
- Career-building skills: Experience with international shipping, SAP, ISO, and lean practices opens doors to logistics coordinator, inventory, or supervisor roles.
