Sales Director (B2B - Robotics & AI)

The company is a robotics AI startup offering a virtual language assistant packaged as a solution to integrate with customer hardware (robotic arms, rovers, drones, camera systems). The organization is expanding into the United States and Europe and is hiring a field B2B sales representative to generate local introductions, perform in-person prospecting, and close customers in hardware, warehousing, packaging, and robotics segments. Target start date: in the coming months. Compensation is a mix of base and performance incentives; candidates who bring clients will be prioritized. Responsibilities Conduct in-person prospecting and client meetings across the US and Europe to generate and qualify B2B opportunities. Target and develop relationships with hardware vendors, warehouses, packaging firms, robotics vendors, drone and camera firms, and other industrial customers. Present and demo the solution to technical and commercial stakeholders; map integration opportunities with customer hardware. Build and execute local go-to-market outreach plans including cold outreach, on-site visits, trade-show engagement, and strategic introductions. Manage a pipeline, track activity and outcomes, and report progress to the founder or assigned manager. Close pilot projects and initial contracts; coordinate handoffs to implementation and product teams. Provide market feedback to refine product positioning, pricing, and sales collateral. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of B2B field sales experience with a proven track record in prospecting, relationship-building, and closing deals. Direct experience selling to or working with warehouses, packaging operations, robotics/hardware vendors, or industrial automation customers preferred. Familiarity with AI-driven products, software-to-hardware integrations, and ability to discuss technical value and scalability with engineers and decision-makers. Strong in-person presentation and demo skills; comfortable conducting on-site technical meetings and pilot negotiations. Highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate independently in new markets. Able and willing to travel frequently and perform on-the-ground fieldwork in the US and Europe; candidates authorized to work/travel in target regions preferred.
