Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, fostering rapport and establishing meaningful therapeutic relationships while adhering strictly to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, schedule appointments, and plan for eventual discharge when appropriate.
• Design, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client, ensuring that the plans remain person-centered and effective.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation including progress notes and treatment records for each client to support continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct thorough intake assessments to determine the clinical needs of new clients and facilitate appropriate resources.
• Engage in weekly individual therapy sessions with clients, employing evidence-based practices to support their mental wellness.
• Participate in ongoing individual supervision and team meetings to ensure quality of care and professional development.
• Collaborate with various healthcare providers to create a seamless care experience for clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for documentation and client management, including familiarity with RMS systems, Excel, Outlook, and PIMSY software.
• Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services, demonstrating an ability to adapt to diverse therapeutic approaches.
• Comfortable conducting initial intake assessments and determining treatment needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with specific populations, such as children and adolescents, or clients with a history of trauma.
• Advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
