Patient Account Registrar

Role: Patient Account Registrar responsible for interviewing patients or their representatives to collect demographics, insurance details, eligibility, benefits, and authorizations. Key Duties: Collaborate with the Admitting department, operate computers for data entry and retrieval, and communicate effectively with diverse patient populations using age-specific techniques. Maintain proficiency in medical terminology and complete special projects as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: Prior hospital experience preferred, knowledge of medical terminology a plus, strong communication, multitasking, prioritization, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills. High school diploma or GED required. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary range estimated at $16.60 to $23.19, with comprehensive benefits including paid time off, retirement plan, medical/dental/vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary options.
