Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Premier Sports Fitness & Physiotherapy Services, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations, including reviewing relevant medical history, performing specific assessments, and documenting findings and recommendations in the patient's record.
• Effectively communicating evaluation results and developing customized treatment plans that involve both the patient and their family in goal-setting discussions.
• Implementing treatment protocols with precision, based on patient presentations and up-to-date healthcare practices.
• Consulting with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and document any necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Managing all aspects of patient discharge planning, ensuring comprehensive follow-up care that aligns with our commitment to excellent patient experience.
• Completing timely and accurate administrative tasks, including patient documentation, billing, and maintaining schedules, while ensuring compliance with evolving healthcare regulations.
• Participating actively in departmental meetings, contributing ideas for continuous improvement of service quality, and engaging in community-based marketing activities.
• Taking the initiative in pursuing continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in physical therapy.
• Serving as a clinical instructor, mentoring students and fostering future generations of healthcare providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population largely consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, musculoskeletal conditions, and various physical impairments. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; additional postgraduate education (Doctorate in Physical Therapy) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience in a physical therapy setting is not required, candidates with experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or related clinical internships will be given preference. Additionally, strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
