Overview Our client’s Electronics & Software Patent Prosecution team is seeking a USPTO-registered Associate attorney with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field such as Mathematics or Physics. Candidates should have at least three years of law firm experience in patent prosecution involving technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Image Processing, and/or Autonomous Vehicles. Responsibilities Prepare and prosecute patent applications before the USPTO in relevant technologies (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Image Processing, Autonomous Vehicles). Conduct prior art searches and analyze patentable subject matter in technically complex environments. Draft, amend, and respond to Office Actions; collaborate with inventors and clients to capture and clarify invention concepts. Qualifications USPTO-registered attorney with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (e.g., Mathematics or Physics). Minimum three years of law firm experience in patent prosecution, with demonstrable work in AI, ML, cloud computing, image processing, or autonomous vehicles. Strong written and verbal communication skills; transcripts and writing samples may be required.
