HR Assistant

$17 per hour

HR Assistant Uniqlo is hiring for a HR Assistant Position in SoHo, New York City. Base pay starts at $17/hr. UNIQLO is an international clothing retailer that has a specialized knack for designing apparel that lasts. The simple, basics-inspired clothing created at UNIQLO continues to be successful trend cycle after trend cycle, season after season. The company was founded in Japan in 1984. Job Description Supports recruiting for the store by developing and maintaining professional relationships with external sources to generate applicant flow including learning institutions, government agencies, independent organizations including nonprofit agencies, and other employment sources Utilizes recruiting tools and employs talent acquisition strategies to source external candidates by conducting on-site recruiting events, holding job fairs, and shopping the competition to find potential talent Supports in the posting and updating of open positions on internal and external job boards Processes various reports and focuses on the administrative tasks associated with HR reporting, policy and procedure Process liaison for employee relations questions and concerns, leaves of absence, paid time off, workers compensation, etc. Collaborates with other functional groups including store managers, human resources, training and payroll Follows up with and tracks all aspects of employment, such as completing employment forms, conducting orientations and notifying departments of new hire starting dates Assists with all recruitment efforts including setting up and participating in on-site and external job fairs Assists with special projects as assigned by management Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred 1-2 years of human resources administration or related experience Experience in retail preferred Strong MS Office proficiency Experience with applicant tracking systems and Human Resources systems (Workday strongly preferred) Excellent Customer Service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of HR policies and practices, employment law, recruitment and employment practices, Equal Employment Opportunity regulations and guidelines Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs, including evenings and weekends #J-18808-Ljbffr
