Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Premier Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and ongoing therapy sessions with clients, using appropriate evidence-based practices.
\n
• Working collaboratively with clients to establish individualized treatment goals and interventions that address their unique mental health needs.
\n
• Utilizing and documenting treatment plans effectively in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Facilitating therapeutic sessions through both telehealth and face-to-face modalities, depending on client preferences and needs.
\n
• Providing valuable support to families, utilizing culturally appropriate interventions that respect their individual needs and customs.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings and trainings to maintain and enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated on best practices within the field.

• Ensuring that client confidentiality and professional ethical standards are upheld in every case.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client focus will include a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families from varying ethnic and cultural backgrounds. You will actively engage with clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and transitions in life. We aim to provide a safe environment particularly for underrepresented groups, including LGBTQ+ populations, where clients feel empowered to express themselves without fear of stigma.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited graduate program.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the State of Texas.
\n
• Proficiency in bilingual psychotherapy services, specifically in both Spanish and English.
\n
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a history of effective client outcomes.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with clients effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly desirable:

• Specialization in areas such as trauma, perinatal mental health, grief and loss, or LGBTQ+ issues.
\n
• Training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
\n
• Experience working in family-oriented behavioral health settings.
\n
• Comfortable utilizing technology for virtual therapy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 105,000, based on qualifications and experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
