Key Responsibilities General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate books by preparing and posting journal entries for multiple companies. Closing Process: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including complex bank and balance sheet reconciliations. A/P & A/R Mastery: Process transactions with precision, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. Analysis & Insights: Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to help drive business decisions. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and meticulous documentation. Tech Integration: Utilize advanced software and AI‑driven tools to automate routine tasks and enhance reporting accuracy. Ethical Stewardship: Ensure strict compliance with GAAP and healthcare‑specific regulations, including HIPAA and CMS guidelines. Qualifications 2–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in healthcare or a corporate setting. Comfort with managing accounts for multiple sets of books. Advanced Excel skills and a passion for embracing AI and new accounting software such as QuickBooks. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Associate’s degree with relevant experience considered). Exceptional accuracy, proactive problem‑solving, and a collaborative spirit.
