We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in Probate and Trust Administration to join our Fort Myers office. This is a senior, ownership-driven role designed for someone who can independently manage cases from start to finish.

This position is ideal for a steady, detail-oriented professional who values accountability, follow-through, and long-term case management in emotionally complex matters. This is not a training or entry-level role.

Key Responsibilities

Probate & Trust Administration

• Draft and file probate and estate administration pleadings
• Prepare asset inventories and fiduciary accountings
• Coordinate asset transfers, retitling, and beneficiary distributions

 
Client & Case Management

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and families
• Maintain organized, accurate case files and documentation
• Communicate with attorneys, courts, financial institutions, and third parties
• Ensure deadlines, follow-ups, and compliance requirements are consistently met

 
Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Probate and Trust Administration
• Familiarity with Florida court filings, deadlines, and procedures
• Experience with fiduciary accounting, including bank reconciliations and court-mandated accountings
• Ability to manage cases independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional, compassionate communication skills for emotionally sensitive matters
• Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office (Clio experience a plus)
