Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess individual needs and create personalized treatment strategies to help patients meet their functional aspirations.
• Administer Therapeutic Interventions: Implement research-supported techniques to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily life skills.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their loved ones essential therapy techniques for ongoing support outside of sessions.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as required to ensure progress towards goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Ongoing education and specialty certifications are encouraged and supported.

Licenses

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
