Audit Senior Audit Senior Job Description An Audit Senior Accountant is newly in a position of advanced technical aptitude and supervisory responsibilities. A Senior must be able to handle more complex assignments than the staff, begin to learn the complete process of managing all tasks regarding client work, and take a lead role in developing/reviewing the work of less experienced staff. Responsibilities Perform and assist with audits, reviews and compilations for clients in various industries Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up Deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise Required Qualifications Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Master’s degree or 150 credits completed 2-6 years in relevant position Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin is a plus CPA or actively working toward passing the CPA Exam, or relevant certification for respective discipline as soon as possible, if certification is not already attained.
