Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients referred by physicians, establishing a solid baseline for individual treatment plans.
• Design and implement treatment programs that integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches, tailored specifically for orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine patients.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, their caregivers, and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless ongoing care and to maximize patient outcomes.
• Employ evidence-based practices and innovative rehabilitation techniques to deliver purposeful and skilled therapeutic care, ultimately enhancing patients' function and quality of life.
• Educate patients and their families regarding in-home exercises, care principles, and wellness strategies that empower them in their recovery and facilitate better management of their conditions.
• Document patient progress thoroughly and meet or exceed minimum utilization goals and administrative objectives to support the business's functionality and growth.
• Actively participate in continuous education and training opportunities to enhance professional development and mastery of the latest therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Lumturi, you will encounter a wide range of patients with varying needs and conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, growth and developmental issues in children, neurological disorders, and sports injuries. Our patient-centered approach ensures we deliver care that recognizes individual goals and challenges, working collaboratively to help each person achieve their specific health objectives.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited academic program.
• State licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with a successful completion of the Physical Therapy Exam.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a comprehensive therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all patients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex information and foster patient rapport.
• Proficiency in word processing and other computer skills for accurate documentation and patient management.
• A genuine passion for establishing meaningful relationships with patients, assisting them in achieving and exceeding their functional abilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities and approaches, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modality use.
• Previous roles that demonstrate an ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
• Experience in patient education and community outreach programs related to physical therapy.
