The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the heart of West McLean. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Strong Vitality, you will:

• Direct physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, improving, and restoring muscle function to maintain optimal performance in alignment with individualized care plans.
• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure that treatment plans are executed effectively and in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels using diagnostic testing and assessments to develop tailored rehabilitation strategies.
• Consult with clients and their families, providing expertise on transitioning to home therapy and adapting home environments to support rehabilitation efforts.
• Administer a range of therapeutic interventions including manual therapy and exercises, while also instructing clients in proper techniques for self-care and mobility enhancement.
• Regularly assess, document, and report on clients' progress, adjusting care plans as needed in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive clinical records including initial evaluations, ongoing treatment notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss case progress and strategize on patient care solutions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, managing chronic illnesses, or experiencing mobility challenges related to aging or other health conditions. Your expertise will play an essential role in guiding these clients towards achieving their personal rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families.
• Creative problem-solving capabilities to develop effective, personalized treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

Applicants should have at least one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy role, particularly in acute care or home care settings. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is also preferred to streamline documentation and patient management processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
