Hiring: Program Manager – Banking Modernization
Location: Richmond, VA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Minimum 3 days onsite
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale transition to a new banking partner across multiple divisions and business functions.
The role will involve managing deliverables, resources, dependencies, requirements, and stakeholder coordination across multiple business divisions, finance/comptroller functions, technology teams, and external banking partner resources.
The Program Manager will also support process reengineering and help business teams adapt their existing processes to leverage new banking technologies and services.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in program management, product ownership, IT modernization, enterprise delivery, or equivalent
- 8+ years of process reengineering and process mapping experience
- 8+ years of experience driving on-time delivery through clear milestones and cross-division dependency management
- 8+ years of experience ensuring stakeholder alignment on schedules and commitments
- 8+ years leading multi-division, high-visibility technology or modernization initiatives
- Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies , including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with Jira, Microsoft Planner, or similar Agile work-management platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, Microsoft Project, and Power BI
- Hands-on experience supporting teams and management through significant process changes
- Strong professionalism, confidentiality, initiative, and dependability
- Active PMP certification – Required
Preferred / Desired Qualifications
- CSM and SAFe certifications – Highly Desired
- Experience with banking platforms and Oracle or similar ERP systems – Plus
- Experience with revenue collection and/or cash management processes and tools – Desired
- Additional Agile/Product credentials such as:
- CSPO
- PSPO
- SAFe POPM
- CSM
- Lean Six Sigma
- ITIL Foundation
- Other Agile/Product Management certifications
