Payroll Specialist We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support weekly payroll processing for construction employees working on government-funded projects. Experience with Certified Payroll is preferred but not required. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work and ensuring regulatory compliance. What You’ll Do Support weekly payroll processing for several hundred employees working on government construction projects in multiple states. Support the payroll reporting documentation to ensure compliance with government reporting standards. Training will be provided. Verify wage rates, benefits, classifications, and apprenticeship requirements by project. Cross-check payroll data against project documents and employee records to identify and resolve discrepancies. Investigate and resolve potential compliance issues in collaboration with project managers and field personnel under guidance from the senior payroll manager. What We’re Looking For Proven experience supporting the processing of weekly payroll. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in Excel and adapt to other technologies. Schedule & Compensation On-site | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM 2-25- $25 per hour, depending on experience. 30 to 90 Day Temporary Assignment with opportunity to be extended based on the company's project pipeline.
