About the Role

We are seeking a VP, Solutions Consulting to lead a critical growth engine within Blitzy's pre-sales organization. This executive will own the strategy and execution for how we show up technically with customers and will be directly accountable for driving durable, up-market revenue growth. By partnering closely with Sales and Product, this leader will build and run a high-performing team that shapes our technical GTM, wins complex AI-driven modernization deals, and proves Blitzy as the platform of choice for enterprises automating and accelerating software development.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for the Solutions Consulting organization, shaping our technical GTM, improving win rates, and driving adoption of Blitzy's AI-native development platform across strategic accounts

• Lead a growing solutions consulting team, ensuring the right structure, leadership bench, and operating model to support sustained growth across segments and regions

• Partner closely with Sales leadership to accelerate revenue growth, drive technical engagement on high-value opportunities, and build strong relationships with strategic accounts

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to bring field and customer insights into roadmap priorities, refine technical narratives and reference architectures, and maintain tight feedback loops into product decisions

• Build and develop a strong leadership team, attracting, growing, and retaining top pre-sales talent while fostering an inclusive, high-performing, high-trust culture

• Design and drive accountability for operating rhythms (planning, reviews, forecasting contributions, KPIs like win rates and deal velocity) that optimize team performance

• Lead cross-functional initiatives (GTM motions, new sales plays, partner models), ensuring alignment and adoption across functions

• Drive consistency in methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., MEDDIC, value-based discovery, solution design, POCs, technical win strategies) to optimize resource effectiveness and deal velocity

• Serve as a visible executive sponsor with key customers and partners, representing Blitzy's technical strategy and vision

• Own the budget and investment strategy for the Solutions Consulting org; make data-driven tradeoffs that optimize impact and long-term value creation

• Model Blitzy's leadership culture by driving clear, candid communication through change, centering decisions on customer and company priorities

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience, with 6+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles, ideally in enterprise software, cloud, or AI/developer platforms

• 2+ years successfully leading a pre-sales team or organization, navigating high-velocity change and cross-functional collaboration while delivering measurable revenue impact

• Proven ability to execute strategic GTM initiatives (e.g., new motion design, AI/modernization programs) and build scalable operating models that drive sustained growth

• Demonstrated ability to anticipate market shifts and customer needs, and to drive innovation through investment in AI-driven GTM approaches

• Strong grounding in modern GTM and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC/MEDDPICC), with experience institutionalizing these frameworks and holding GTM leaders accountable to them

• Experience owning a functional budget: making investment decisions, managing tradeoffs, and improving productivity and ROI over time

• Track record of building high-performing, inclusive teams — addressing performance issues quickly and fairly, and fostering development, transparency, and continuous feedback

• Sound technical and commercial judgment working with complex solutions (cloud platforms, AI, infrastructure, developer tools), with the credibility to operate in both technical and business forums

Salary Range: $315,000-$345,000 + Bonus + Equity
