What will I do as an Administrative Assistant at The GIANT Company?

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Vice President (SVP) and functional area teams, ensuring the smooth functioning of daily operations and long-term initiatives.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the functional leaders, managing all incoming and outgoing correspondence and prioritizing timely responses.
  • Filter requests from internal and external stakeholders regarding team availability and input.
  • Provide necessary reports and information promptly as required.
  • Complete entry-level analytical work in support of the functions.
  • Manage and maintain the functional leaders' calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, conference calls, and other functions.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries as needed.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Offer daily assistance on long-term projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain invoices and track expenditures as required.
  • Act as the primary contact for internal and external visitors in the functional area.
  • Ensure accurate and professional communication with all stakeholders.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
  • Provide administrative oversight on various tasks as needed.

What are the details?
  • Hybrid Remote: This position is based out of Carlisle, Pa. and will require 3 days a week in the office.
  • Reporting: The Administrative Assistant reports into the SVP of Customer Experience.
