Vice President Of Labor RelationsCiresiMorek is engaged to identify a Vice President of Labor Relations for a publicly traded, Fortune 1000 industrial organization (~$2B revenue). This is a high-impact leadership role that directly reports to the CHRO, while partnering with the Executive Leadership Team. We are seeking a hands-on, business-oriented Labor Relations leader who thrives in performance-driven, operational environments and can align talent strategy with business results. The successful candidate will direct and implement immediate and long-range strategic planning for the company in the area of labor relations. This position will manage a large, nationwide department of Labor Relations professionals while representing the company in the negotiations of collective bargaining agreements, regulatory proceedings, and employee grievances. This is a highly visible, high-impact position where a successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.Core requirements include a law or related degree, minimum of ten (10) years' experience negotiating and administering collective bargaining agreements, including first chair experience in negotiations, labor arbitrations, and grievance proceedings, and publicly traded or large, complex company experience.Preferred requirements include a master's in labor relations and proven partnership with senior leadership on business performance.Responsibilities include developing the collective bargaining strategy and overseeing the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements in collaboration with management, building relationships with key labor organizations and external representatives, evaluating and assisting with the effective resolution of grievances and other local conflicts resulting from the labor agreements, counseling managers and employees regarding the interpretation and application of collective bargaining agreements, as well as the intent, application, and compliance requirements of labor and regulatory laws, and developing and maintaining effective relationships with operations and union leadership to address and resolve issues and proactively implement effective workplace practices.CiresiMorek is a team of experienced industry professionals known for a hands-on, relationship-driven approach.
