Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Overview Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for creating, validating, recording, reconciling, reporting, and explaining all customer-order related transactions and invoicing. Reports to the Senior Financial Reporting Manager. Key Responsibilities Create sales orders and invoices within the ERP system. Ensure accurate and timely processing of sales orders, invoices, and credit notes; resolve issues with staff. Maintain correct sales tax settings and comply with tax rules. Communicate directly with customers to resolve invoice or deliverable issues. Manage customer relationships, follow up on past‑due payments, resolve disputes, misapplied payments, and reconcile statements. Assist with customer billing reporting. Review and improve sales‑order and billing processes. Support account setup, order quantities, payment terms, product pricing, shipping terms, supplier codes, supplier portals, and tax items within the Sales and Supply‑Chain teams. Support monthly close activities and audits. Assist with ERP implementation. Qualifications Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or business; bachelor’s preferred or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of experience in customer sales‑order, invoicing and related processes. Proficiency with SAP ERP. Strong communication, organization, planning, and time‑management skills. Team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks. High attention to detail and analytical skills. Adaptability to changing priorities and organizational needs. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Hybrid role based in Wilmington, MA (3 days per week). Benefits & Working Conditions Up to 10% travel may be required; a valid driver’s license is required. Employee responsible for personal credit‑card expenses reimbursed bi‑weekly.
