Key Qualifications:

• Current Special Education Teaching credential (California)
• Experience teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Flexibility to work on-site with a possible option for virtual instruction

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s strengths and challenges
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in small groups and one-on-one settings
• Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with district and state standards
• Serve as an advocate for students’ learning and well-being

This opportunity provides a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, on a supportive school campus near Grenada, CA. Should the need arise, there is potential flexibility for remote/virtual (VOCO) instruction in select circumstances, ensuring the best fit for both educator and students.
