Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate the specific mental health needs of clients and recommend the most effective treatment interventions.

• Perform diagnostic assessments and compile comprehensive case histories to provide a foundation for tailored treatment plans.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide ongoing therapy sessions to clients, monitor their progress, and modify treatment plans as necessary to align with their evolving needs.

• Conduct regular client case consultations to discuss progress and to strategize approaches for overcoming challenges.

• Maintain accurate and detailed case records while ensuring strict confidentiality in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Advocate for clients by providing supportive counseling, guiding them to resources, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is mandatory; however, a master’s or doctorate degree is strongly preferred.

• Must be a licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a strong knowledge base in therapeutic practices.
