Cleveland State University – Engaged Learning The Coordinator, Benefits supports the campus as it modernizes human resources and continues to provide a comprehensive range of benefits designed to promote the health, well‑being, and financial security of CSU employees and their families. Position Location Main Campus. FTE 0.60. Job Summary Provides administrative and front‑line employee support for CSU employee benefits. Collaborates with carrier partners to uphold financial and data integrity standards. Maintains a high level of confidentiality, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to delivering responsible support to others. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or state‑recognized equivalent. Experience in benefits administration. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Human Capital Management (HCM) software systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Exceptional interpersonal skills and a “Customer Focus” attitude and delivery. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time‑management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Clearly and effectively conveys information to various audiences. Works cooperatively across HR functions, colleges, and departments. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion. Ability to provide empathy and professionalism when assisting employees.
