Business Analyst (Insurance)

To support a large-scale Reinsurance Modernization initiative, the contract IT Business Analyst (Insurance) will lead business analysis activities, engage with executive stakeholders, and manage reporting workstreams, with a hybrid work arrangement preferred in Madison, WI or New York, NY, while remote candidates in the U.S. are also considered. Key responsibilities Lead business analysis by gathering and validating requirements with senior stakeholders Serve as the liaison between business partners and IT to ensure successful delivery of solutions Manage reporting workstreams, ensuring deliverables align with project objectives and timelines Required qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner Extensive experience in Reinsurance and working knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Proven experience leading projects in Agile environments Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process analysis, and stakeholder management Experience using JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
