Loan Servicing Specialist

Kforce has a client in Newark, DE that is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Loan Operations Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for administering complex commercial loan transactions, ensuring compliance with credit agreements, maintaining accurate loan accounting records, and providing exceptional service to clients, lenders, and internal business partners. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience interpreting legal loan documentation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Process loan transactions, including fundings, repricings, and payments, in accordance with client instructions and credit agreements
• Calculate, monitor, and reconcile complex interest and fee accruals across multiple rate structures and changing lender distributions
• Reconcile daily funding and payment activity to ensure all cash transactions are accurately recorded
• Review, interpret, and apply complex credit agreements and related legal documentation, collaborating with attorneys and internal partners as needed
• Initiate and reconcile automated fund movements based on client and lender instructions
• Monitor outstanding principal, interest, and fee payments, escalating past-due items and ensuring timely and accurate client invoicing
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Experience in commercial loan operations, loan servicing, syndicated lending, or financial services preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation and credit agreements
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
• Ability to interpret legal and financial documentation with a high degree of accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and loan accounting or servicing systems
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
