Dean, School of Business, Hospitality and Public Services

* Grant-in-Aid: Tuition & fee assistance for employees and their families at NSHE institutions.* Time Off: CSN provides a variety of time off options to help employees manage their work-life balance.* Holidays: All CSN employees receive 12 paid holidays per year.* Benefits: CSN offers attractive and customizable health insurance plans for employee and dependents.* Retirement Plan: Participants contribute 19.25% with 100% employer match.* On-site services available* Learning & professional development opportunities.* Active that focus on campus-wide diversity initiatives to create a welcoming campus climate.* Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution in any program field that is offered within the School of Business, Hospitality, and Public Services and/or consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position, such as Higher Education Leadership, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, Public Administration or Policy.* Six (6) years of full-time experience at a higher education institution to include at least two years of full-time teaching experience at the post-secondary education level in a discipline currently offered at CSN within the School of Business, Hospitality and Public Services.* Three (3) years of experience in an academic leadership and/or supervisory role in higher education.* Doctorate Degree from a regionally accredited institution.* Experience working in a multi-site community college.* Experience with the development, evaluation and expansion of programs and degrees that meet workforce and industry needs and/or lead to seamless transfer.* Experience with the development, evaluation and expansion of distance education and/or alternative modes of instructional delivery.* Experience with grant writing and management of grant funds.* Experience promoting diversity, multiculturalism, equity, inclusion, belonging and internationalism in a community college environment in support of the college’s mission, goals and strategies.* Experience in student learning outcomes assessment and data-informed program review and assessment, including budget management.* Experience successfully collaborating with stakeholders in creating a positive work and learning environment in support of the college’s mission, goals and strategies.* Experience with accreditation processes and requirements in the post-secondary environment.* Experience working in a collective bargaining environment.**The ideal candidate should possess the following** **knowledge, skills, and abilities:*** Proficiency in use of a personal computer and current software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).* Expertise in curriculum development and revision, particularly in stackable credentials.* Proficiency in assessing student learning outcomes and utilizing data for decision-making.* Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.* Ability to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.* High emotional intelligence, ethical decision-making, and sound judgment.* Proven ability to establish and maintain partnerships with local business and industry leaders.* Resume/CV* Cover Letter* Contact information for three professional references (Name, email and phone number)* Unofficial Academic Transcripts (Applicants who have earned their degrees outside of the United States must have their educational transcripts evaluated by an approved evaluator if their college or university is not listed in the most recent edition of the Higher Education Directory, published by Higher Education Publications, Inc.
