Dental Receptionist
About Us:
We are a growing dental practice seeking an experienced and dependable Dental Receptionist to join our front office team. We value professionalism, efficiency, and excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience
- Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently
- Manage daily schedule and confirm upcoming appointments
- Verify dental insurance and explain basic benefits to patients
- Check patients in and out, collect payments, and process transactions
- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental software
- Coordinate with dental assistants and providers to ensure smooth workflow
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of dental front desk experience REQUIRED
- Experience with Open Dental software PREFERRED.
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification and terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and professional demeanor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PPO and Husky insurance plans
- Bilingual (Spanish)
