Mt. Zion Baptist Church is seeking a full-time Student and Family Minister/Director to plan programs and provide ministerial services to children, youth, and their families.
Qualifications
- Christian in belief and action
- Love for children/youth
- Experience working with and planning for children/youth preferred
Basic Job Responsibilities Include
- Develop program in which children can build a foundational trust in and knowledge of the Christian faith.
- Plan and provide direction for those leading Children and Youth Sunday morning and Wednesday evening activities.
- Lead organization of special family events such as Vacation Bible School, Fall Festival, and mission activities.
- Lead the ministries with aim to meet age-appropriate spiritual, social and developmental needs of the students.
- Position includes budgeting & fiscal responsibilities, guiding & recruiting volunteers, resource management, and program management responsibilities.
