Position Overview

New Millennium Pain and Spine is looking for an experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated rehabilitation team in Camden, New Jersey. This full-time position is critical in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients, enabling them to regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, mobility, and functional capabilities.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on each patient's specific diagnoses and rehabilitation goals.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote healing, relieve pain, and restore function.
• Educate patients and their families on safe and effective home exercise programs and self-care strategies to enhance recovery.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment protocols, and outcomes in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care delivery, sharing insights and strategies for patient improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in orthopedic therapy to provide the best patient care possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse patient population experiencing musculoskeletal conditions such as post-operative recovery, chronic pain syndromes, sports injuries, and conditions related to aging. The role emphasizes a patient-centered approach, requiring an understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals in their therapeutic journeys. You will play a key role in motivating and guiding patients to achieve their rehabilitation milestones.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, complemented by an active state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• At least three years of clinical experience, which may include internships, residencies, or professional practice in an orthopedic setting.
• Strong knowledge of and proficiency in treating musculoskeletal conditions, coupled with the ability to perform manual therapy techniques effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of experience is required, candidates with five years or more in clinical practice, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation, will be prioritized. Additional expertise in pain management modalities and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will also be favored.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
