About The Role Join Jackson Hewitt as an Experienced Tax Preparer and play a vital role in delivering exceptional tax services to our clients in Brick, NJ. We are looking for passionate professionals who thrive in a fast‑paced environment and are eager to make a difference during tax season. Responsibilities Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Analyze clients\' financial information to identify tax deductions and credits. Provide exceptional customer service by answering client inquiries and addressing concerns. Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy. Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of tax preparation experience in a professional setting. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA certification is a plus. Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills. Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
