Nonprofit Accountant

Accounting Specialist | Payroll & NetSuite Jacksonville, FL | Temp-to-Perm | Fully Onsite A mission-driven nonprofit organization in Jacksonville is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role will primarily support payroll processing, accounts payable, receivables/payment entry, and accounting operations within NetSuite. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on NetSuite and payroll experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Work Setting: Fully onsite Employment Type: Temp-to-perm Pay: depending on experience Key Responsibilities: Process payroll for approximately 100 employees Assist with accounts payable processing, invoice coding, approvals, and vendor follow-up Enter and manage receivable payments within NetSuite Support accounting operations related to grant activity Maintain accurate documentation for payroll, AP, AR, and accounting transactions Assist with administrative accounting tasks within NetSuite Collaborate with accounting and HR teams to ensure accurate payroll and financial data Payroll will be the primary focus at the start of the role, with the opportunity to support additional accounting functions as needed.
