Assistant/Associate or Professor of Clinical Neurology

Division of Epilepsy, Department of Neurology, Keck School of Medicine Full-time Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor of Neurology position available at the University of Southern California (USC). The selected candidate will join the USC Comprehensive Epilepsy Program, a Level IV epilepsy center that serves a large tertiary referral network in Southern and Central California. Overview As an epileptologist, you will provide direct in‑patient and out‑patient care for epilepsy patients, including epilepsy surgery and continuous bedside video/EEG monitoring of patients in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). You will also contribute to the training of fellows, residents, and medical students at the Keck School of Medicine and pursue translational research opportunities in the affiliated USC Neurorestoration Center. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive clinical care for epilepsy patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform and supervise continuous video/EEG monitoring patients in the EMU and ICU. Teach and mentor trainees, including fellows, residents, and medical students at Keck School of Medicine. Engage in translational research at the USC Neurorestoration Center. Qualifications Board eligible or certified in Neurology. Completed fellowship training in Epilepsy. Eligible for medical licensure in the State of California. Academic appointment commensurate with experience at either Assistant or Associate Professor level. Annual base salary range: $220,000–$240,000. Salary is determined by scope of duties, experience, education, and other internal and external factors.
