Job#: 3035271 Job Description: Business Analyst (Document Governance) Location: MINNEAPOLIS, MN OR CHARLOTTE, NC (3 DAYS/WEEK ONSITE) Employment Type: W2 Contract Duration: 18 months Note: We are unable to consider C2C or third-party submissions. Role Overview Our organization is seeking a contractor to support document management and records compliance initiatives. This role involves the migration and integration of documents from non-compliant to compliant repositories and focuses on execution across taxonomy, controls, access management, intake tracking, reporting, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). This is an 18-month contract position with a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days onsite per week. We are unable to consider C2C or third-party submissions for this role. Key Responsibilities * Execute document governance activities, including taxonomy and metadata support. * Apply record categories and retention rules to business documents. * Perform governance tasks such as metadata validation and access reviews. * Manage intake requests and associated workflows using JIRA and Confluence. * Support reporting requirements related to document governance. * Write and execute UAT test cases and scripts for system changes. * Assist in the cleanup of shared drives and other non-compliant storage areas. * Perform other duties as needed to support project goals. Required Qualifications * 3-5+ years of experience in document management, records management, business operations, or a related risk function. * Demonstrated experience with UAT, including writing test cases, creating scripts, and executing tests. * Proficiency with JIRA or similar workflow management tools. * Familiarity with document and records platforms such as Documentum or FileNet. * Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. * A strong execution focus with the ability to work independently. * Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines. * Clear communication skills with a proactive approach to escalating issues. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is between $52.50 and $55.50 per hour.
