Roadrunner Hospice in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a professional, compassionate, and dependable office Receptionist to serve our patients, families, partners and community members.

Position is full-time, Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, family members, visitors, vendors, and healthcare professionals in a warm and professional manner.
• Answer and route incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
• Take accurate messages and communicate time-sensitive information to the appropriate hospice team member.
• Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception and lobby area.
• Assist visitors and families with general questions and direct clinical or patient-specific concerns to the appropriate staff member.
• Provide general clerical and administrative support to hospice leadership and interdisciplinary team members.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of EMR systems helpful.
• Must be able to follow directives and communicate in a professional manner.
• Possess a current driver's license and reliable transportation during work hours.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in hospice, home health, healthcare, or a medical office setting.
• Experience working with electronic medical records or healthcare information systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
