Project Scheduler The Project Scheduler will create, maintain and update schedules for the self-performed MEP trades of construction projects. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a working knowledge of MEP trades (mechanical, plumbing, HVAC/R and electrical). The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, site supervision, and subcontractors to develop and update accurate schedules. Duties/Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, with a significant focus on MEP trades Collaborate with project managers, site supervision, and subcontractors to establish timelines Monitor and update project progress Implement scheduling strategies to mitigate conflicts and delays Communicate schedule updates and changes to all stakeholders Ensure compliance with project deadlines and client expectations Utilize scheduling software to track and report on project timelines Other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project Working knowledge of resource loaded schedules Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Analytical skills to evaluate project progress and make schedule adjustments as necessary Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing schedules Problem-solving abilities to mitigate potential schedule delays and issues Collaborative mindset to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders Knowledge of construction processes and best practices focusing on self-performed MEP trades Education/Experience: 3-5 years of scheduling experience with a focus on MEP trades Proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Prior experience in construction scheduling or project management Travel Requirements: Flexibility to travel on short notice for urgent business needs, to attend meetings, trainings, and events. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance during business trips. Compliance with company travel policies and procedures. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Ability to use a computer, phone, printer, scanner, and other office equipment. Visual acuity for detailed work and computer use Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds of files, documents, and materials.
