Contract | Rotating Days and Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | 13–18 Week Assignments Available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical / Telemetry Float Pool, with potential to float to additional units serving the same patient population
• Perform continuous ECG rhythm recognition and telemetry monitoring as part of routine patient assessment
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation, working at least every other holiday as required
• Complete orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate with an acceptable passing score (maximum two attempts)
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including annual hands-on competency and required pre-start modules

Required Qualifications

• Active Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• NIHSS certification required — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry (travel experience may be considered toward this requirement)
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months — co-worker references will not be accepted
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility
• Prior float pool experience across multiple unit types
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and ECG interpretation in an acute care setting
