Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status in order to establish their needs and challenges.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that clearly outline the therapeutic objectives tailored to each client's circumstances.

• Administer both group and individual counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client intake, progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Provide 24-hour supervision and monitoring for therapeutic activities when necessary, ensuring support is available to clients at all times.

• Assist in the implementation and supervision of community programs designed to enhance client engagement and support.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address clients’ comprehensive needs, referring them to additional services as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting youth and adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your expertise and empathetic approach will help guide clients toward healing and resilience, making a significant impact on their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, demonstrating a solid track record in mental health practice.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the ability to develop effective treatment plans.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth environment is highly preferred, with a proven ability to use digital tools and platforms for therapy.

• Experience in working with specialized client populations, including adolescents and individuals with co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. As an LPC at San Antonio Counseling Services, you will also have access to a sign-on bonus, professional development opportunities, and support with billing and documentation. Your caseload will be determined based on your availability and experience, allowing for balance and manageable workloads.
