Partners for Rural Impacts (PRI) ultimategoalis for an America where all kids are successful, regardless of zip code, income, background, or ability. At PRI, our focus is on ensuring that all children in rural places achieve success. Partners for Rural Impact was born out of our place-based partnership in Appalachia, whereweve worked for 25 years to create studentopportunityand success.

Position Summary

This is a key full-time, grant-funded position for Partners for Rural Impact and the Full-Service Community Schools (FSCS) Initiative.Reporting to theProgramManager, FSCS State Scale-Up,the School Coordinatorserves as the on-site implementation lead responsible for ensuring students and families receive coordinated, high-qualitysupportsand opportunities that improve attendance, engagement, academic success, andpostsecondaryreadiness. The School Coordinator coordinates and leverages school and community resources to expand services,eliminateduplication, and addressidentifiedstudent and family needs. The School Coordinator will engage in joint planning that entails a full-time commitment and ensures the programis supportingthe four FSCS pillars: 1) holistic integrated studentsupports; 2) expanded, enriched learning time and opportunities from cradle to career; 3) family and community engagement; 4) collaborative leadership and practices. The School Coordinator is charged with coordinating academic, social, and health services through partnerships between a) public elementary and secondary schools; b) the schools local educational agencies (LEAs); and c) community-based organizations, nonprofit organizations, and other public or private entities. The School Coordinator will dedicate 100% of time to FSCS program activities. This is a year-round role. The position leads andoperateswith the goal that All Rural Students Succeed .

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

On-Site Coordination & Implementation

  • Lead implementation of the FSCS initiative at the assigned school site in alignment with the comprehensive program plan, school improvement priorities, MTSS framework, and federal grant requirements
  • Facilitate the school-level advisory board and engage school leaders, families, community partners, and other stakeholders inidentifyingneeds,monitoringprogress, and supporting continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the school principal and partners to align services, addressidentifiedneeds, and support achievement of project outcomes

Student, Family & Community Supports

  • Coordinate and deliver integrated academic, behavioral, social-emotional, health, andpostsecondarysupportsforidentifiedstudents through direct services, service navigation, mentoring, advising, and referrals
  • Coordinate and deliver extended learning opportunities, including after-school and summer programming, in collaboration with school staff and community partners to support student success and grant objectives
  • Coordinate community partnerships andmonitorpartner-delivered services to ensure alignment with grantobjectives, quality standards, andidentifiedstudent and family needs
  • Deliver structured postsecondary readiness services, including college and career advising, FAFSA completion, scholarship guidance, transition planning, and summer melt prevention
  • Deliver high-quality family engagement programming, including Family Villages, that equips families to support student success, builds family leadership, expands college and career awareness, and connects families to school and community resources

Data, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Use Early Warning indicators, needs assessments, and other data sources toidentifypriority students, implement interventions,monitorprogress, and adjustsupportsas needed
  • Maintaintimelyandaccuratedocumentation of services, outcomes, andrequiredgrant data in compliance with federal reporting requirements
  • Support reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement activities by analyzing implementation data and providing recommendations to strengthen program effectiveness

  • Perform otherduties asassigned in support of the mission that All Rural Students Succeed

Work Location and Work Schedule

This position isdesignatedasan onsite positionand requires work to be performed at the assigned work location during Partners for Rural Impacts (PRI) regular business hours.The standard work schedule isMonday through Friday,8:00am to 5:00 pmET.This position may occasionallyrequire work during the early morning, evening, or weekend hours to support events,training, meetings,andbusinessorprogram needs.

This is a 12-month, year-round position.Employeesin this role follow PRIs work schedule and holiday calendar and are expected to work during periods when the assigned school district is not in session, unless otherwise approved.Regular, reliable onsite attendance is an essential function of this position.Remote or hybrid work is not a standard arrangement for this role.

Infrequent travelmay berequiredto support business and program operations, including meetings,trainings, conferences, and other organizational events.Travel may be local, regional, or national and may include occasional overnight stays, depending on business needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education required to ensure success in this position:

  • Associates degree and (3) years of experience in education, community engagement or related fieldrequired,Bachelorsdegree preferred

Experience required to ensure success in this position:

  • Experience in human services
  • Experience coordinating multifaceted programs
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with rural schools and rural communities.
  • Familiarity with the community school model.

Special Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Experience working in rural schools or communities
  • Understanding of first generation, low-income youth and families
  • A desire to develop innovative approaches to meet outcomes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and to meet deadlines and expectations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A commitment to students from diverse economic,socialand cultural backgrounds
  • Computer skills including data processing and financial spreadsheets; Microsoft Office, Adobe

License, Certification, and/or Registration Required:

  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Successfully complete pre-employment background check

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a high energy office
  • Ability to accurately communicate and exchange information with partners, stakeholders, and/or meeting participants
  • Ability tooperatestandard office equipment and computer software programs

Environmental Conditions:

  • Routine school or office environment with interruptions and noise due to frequent visitors, staff, and faculty
  • Ability to travel to meetings off-site
