Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and team administrators to coordinate treatment plans that integrate mental health services with overall patient care.

• Facilitate training sessions for medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance their understanding of mental health issues and appropriate responses.

• Respond to and manage mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety and well-being.

• Participate in commitment hearings as required, ensuring that clients' rights and mental health needs are effectively represented.

• Develop personalized treatment plans for clients, setting clear and achievable therapeutic goals to guide the counseling process.

• Accurately document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all medical records, upholding ethical standards in client care.

• Verify client mental health history and medication use to inform treatment decisions.

• Prepare regular reports on client progress and therapeutic outcomes, adjusting strategies as needed to enhance effectiveness.
