• Experience: 2+ years recent ED experience; first-time travelers must have 2+ years in acute care

What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations, from newborns to geriatrics
• Manage an average of 85-95 patient visits per day in a fast-paced ED environment
• Perform IV starts, continuous patient monitoring, and assess patient severity
• Collaborate with charge nurses, hospitalists, RTs, and other staff to deliver seamless patient care
• Support minor traumas, respiratory distress, stroke, cardiac events, and mental health cases
• Chart patient information accurately using EMR (Meditech Expanse)
• Maintain safety and compliance by passing an EKG competency exam prior to start

What You Need:

• Valid state RN license
• 2+ years of recent ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, CPI or MOAB certifications
• Proven skills in IV placement, multitasking, patient assessment, and continuous monitoring

• Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
