Accounting Manager

salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end close process, review financial statements and perform variance analysis.
• Oversee and actively support accounting operations and inventory-related transactions.
• Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare and record accruals and maintain cash flow forecasts.
• Manage fixed assets and lease accounting, ensuring proper treatment under GAAP (including lease accounting), and oversee inventory accuracy and related accounting.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits & ensure compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls and proactively identify and implement process improvements.
• Assist in supervising and developing accounting team members.
• Misc. other tasks, duties and projects as needed
