We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to drive growth, build customer relationships, and expand our presence in the Nashville market.

Position Summary

As a Business Development Representative, you will identify new business opportunities, develop relationships with fleet managers and business owners, and promote ACTS Fleet Maintenance's services and solutions. This field-based role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys relationship-building, prospecting, and helping customers solve operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory growth strategies focused on customer acquisition and account development
• Prospect new business through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events
• Build relationships with fleet managers, transportation leaders, operations teams, and business owners
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and consultations
• Promote preventive maintenance programs, repair services, and fleet solutions
• Maintain ongoing customer communication and identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with operations and service teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Track sales activities, opportunities, and account growth using company systems
• Represent ACTS Fleet Maintenance with professionalism and integrity
• Travel throughout the assigned territory as needed (typically 1–2 days per week)

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to travel within assigned territory
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• B2B sales experience
• Experience in transportation, fleet maintenance, trucking, diesel repair, automotive services, or related industries
• Experience working with fleet managers, operations leaders, or transportation professionals
• Knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and fleet operations
