Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections - SCI Frackville

The Department of Corrections is seeking a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections to provide psychological services at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Frackville. In this position, you will guide clinical staff, support treatment planning, and enhance the quality of inmate care across the institution. Responsibilities Clinical Supervision: Oversee psychological staff in screening, evaluation, counseling, and crisis intervention Program Leadership: Develop and guide psychological services programs and integrate new policies and procedures Committee Oversight: Serve on key review teams and provide leadership for mental health evaluations and decisions Assessment Review: Evaluate diagnostic reports and ensure accuracy and quality of psychological testing Specialized Consultation: Advise staff on treatment planning and support specialized mental health units Legal Expertise: Provide expert testimony and ensure compliance with accreditation standards Work Schedule and Additional Information Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch Telework: Not available in this position Salary: Starting salary may be non‑negotiable in some cases Qualifications Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) or One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities or behavioral dysfunction. Special Requirements: Must possess a valid license to practice psychology issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or a licensing state acceptable to the Board; out‑of‑state license holders must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment. Other Requirements: Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required. PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
